PETER ANGELAKOS
EXECUTIVE CHEF

Peter was previously the Executive Chef of Pacific Grill in the Paramus Park Mall, where he took over the reigns of the kitchen in April, 2006. Together with his long time assistants, he created exciting and fresh entrées that reflect the diversity of the regions of the West Coast and the Pacific.
 
Peter was reunited with the Amoratis family in September of 2004 at one of Pacific's sister restaurants, Oakville Grille, formerly in Hawthorne. This followed a personal four-year venture as chef/partner of Sonoma Grill in East Rutherford whose accolades include three stars from The Bergen Record, Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence 2001 - 2003 and an Excellent Rating from the Zagat Survey. Previous to that, Peter was the executive chef at another restaurant in the group, Bacari Grill in Washington Township, from September, 1997 to September, 2000. Peter has currently rejoined us here at Bacari Grill!
 
A New Jersey native, Peter is a graduate of The French Culinary Institue, and a member of the American Culinary Federation. He refined his skills in places such as the Alpine Country Club, Beaugard's Restaurant and various hotels. Peter has presented demonstrations on News 12 Daytime Edition, at Bloomingdale's Riverside Square, Chef Central in Paramus, Williams-Sonoma and for the Ridgewood Community School. Peter has also been a long time participant in many charitable events for organizations including Share our Strength and Table to Table.
